joea99 Scooby Newbie Member#: 483823 Join Date: Mar 2018 Location: Stone Ridge, NY 12484	06 Forester, "motorboat" noise in cabin This morning, coldest day of the year, so far, started up and was presented with a "flapping" or "motor boat" sound. Or "stick in the bicycle spokes" sound. 06, manual trans, auto HVAC system. It is not engine speed or fan speed related and is quite loud. Seems to be coming from center console area if I stick my head in the passenger wheel well. From the engine compartment, it comes through the firewall bulkhead from that same area. What could it be? Told him to drive it as it does not seem to be a problem right now.
