In lieu of me not following through in the wheel department, I decided to address some other areas of the car while I wait for my OEM wheels to sell.

Snagged a front lip off of ebay that I found acceptable. While I would love to throw a carbon fiber lip on, knowing the beating those things take (especially through winter), I knew going with something more durable was the way to go. I went with a CS style polyurethane front lip on my WRX and loved it. With this car, decided to go with an OEM style look. Just needed something to lower the front facia a bit more and have more protection. Should be in next week.

About to place an order with subispeed for a few lighting upgrades. Going to try out the morimoto xb LED fog light housings as well as the subispeed JDM s4 bezels. I am awaiting a response to see if I need the C light harness as well since I want to run the bezels and the c lights as my DRL's. When I hear back from them on what I need, I will be placing the order.

I've heard good things for a while now on the morimoto xb fogs. They will be one of my lighting upgrades in the near future.

Yeah, they seem to be a solid choice. They spread of them is what really appeals me. Also the fact it is a much nicer/higher quality housing than the stockers. Should be a nice addition to the lighting setup.

Most likely going to sell off the subieled fog light bulbs if anyone is interested. I'll give you a good deal!

I have the Morimoto led fogs and they are fantastic.
Such an incredible step up from the stock units.

Great to hear! The stock fogs have nothing to write home about. With the help of the subieled bulbs, they definitely were a bit better, but I just want something with more lateral light. Excited for them to arrive. Just waiting on subispeed to get back to me on the DRL question I had.

I run my LED bezel off of the low beam, I'd think to go off of the DRL you'd need the harness.

That is what I figured. I want to run the C light and the LED bezel as my DRL and just keep my old DRL as my high beams. I'll see what they say and then place my order.

The stock C-light isn't very bright, sadly.
And i'm not brave/dumb enough to open a pair of $1000 headlights and add the aftermarket led setup.
The subiespeed headlights are a bit too cheesy looking for me as well.

Yeah, I eventually plan on adding the nicer C light, but we will see. I am ok with how it is now.

Opening up headlights is scary at first, but after you do it once, it's less stressful. I've opened many headlights and never had an issue. Although, this time around I may have lightwerkz do it when I am ready to tackle it. Simply due to less time to wrench on the car.

I agree. I was anticipating the subispeed/apollo headlights since they announced them. Nice that we have some options, but the mustang sequential lines and the $1200 price threw me for a loop. Seems a little to gimmicky to me for the money. From what I saw, the cutoff did seem sharper, but not sure how they performed against a proper retrofit or even stock led headlights with clear lenses and proper bulbs. I'd prefer to spend that money on suspension/wheels prior to those headlights.

Nice! They are a great upgrade from stock. Hopefully I'll get some time this weekend to get a review up. They definitely are a nice piece and happy with the overall look and performance. You'll enjoy them for sure.

Yeah, this wheel us a big upgrade from the GR stock wheels. Although, I will say, I was super happy with my GT-Spec steering wheel I got for my WRX. It was a huge upgrade from stock. I loved the overall size and feel of that wheel. Subispeed has some nice options, but I am hoping someone comes out with something similar to the GT spec wheel for the 15+. We will see. The Stock wheel is pretty nice, but something I definitely want to upgrade eventually.

I know that DAMD has options for your year. Kamispeed is doing a group buy.

I did see that, however I read the Damd wheel is actually smaller in thickness. I want something a bit beefier and smaller in diameter. That's what I loved about the GT-Spec.
