I haven't changed my tranny or diff oil in 125,000 miles...

I checked the tranny level the other day and it was fine...wasn't even that dark really.

the tranny fluid in my 1985 nissan pickup has never been changed and shifts a lot smoother than my 2002 wrx which has been changed thrice in 50k miles.

Then again, that doesn't say much does it.

My friend hasn't changed the motor oil in his 240sx in about 20k and over a year.

well thats not smart at all, much higher heat, a lot more dust, and a lot more wear metals....tranny is something else entirely.

although its not smart to not change the tranny fluid for 20 years, why start now if its never been done?....

He has a 1990 240sx with the stock ka24e in it. He has a redtop just sitting in his garage he is getting ready to put in. I doubt he cares if he messes up that KA.

i'm at 96k with 20g, injectors, intercooler upgrade, etc., etc., etc... never have touched mine either.
