So Jealous!! Great work though. I hope to have the time to do this to my WRX in the near future. You are my motivation!

Tried out covering a new piece that I haven't seen done before. I think it makes a big difference to the wheel. It's about as good as the stock wheel is going to get before I possibly switch it out in the future.

I'm thinking you need to buy a roll of 500', rent a pick up, pack up your tools and travel the US doing peoples cars.
Just make sure your first stop is my house. |

I wish I could really pull something like that off. I'd probably do good for the first few cars and then do something stupid like catch the roll of Alcantara on fire and waste $16,000 worth of material, lol

Excellent work on that steering wheel. |

Absolutely incredible work. I looked through your full build thread, and I have to say that your car is by far my favorite WRX I have yet to see.

Definitely interested, I've received more then 20 offers since I posted this on Friday to do some kind of work for other members. The biggest problem is time. I'm closing on a new home in 2 weeks then getting married in 4 weeks. I have a lot on my plate and I feel like I can't honestly get the job done in a fair time frame. I'd be more then willing once I get though September. We'll keep in touch!!

Perfect! I know the feeling, I got married just shy of two years ago and bought just under a year ago, so I know how busy those times are. Take your time and best of luck with both!

The material can tear so I feel that the airbags will work fine and deploy like normal. The seats won't be done, I like the leather on them and have no reason to change it. The only other pieces will be the headliner, B and C pillars this winter. Cheers! |

Been admiring your build for a long time. Come to Vegas for your honeymoon and I'll get your room and food comped...you do my interior! Wife might not like that though

Seriously, what you should do is contact soa and sell them what you do with 350$ of hardware. I'm sure a lot of person would pay 1k for a complete interior. And as a bonus less rattle
I'm sure you can make some money with that. |

We haven't picked a spot to go for our honeymoon but I'm pretty sure Vegas won't be on the top of her list. I can always ask though! I'm putting more though into possibly buying 2 full rolls of Alcantara and doing some work for other members over this winter. I've had a huge response in inquires but it's been mostly my location that has been some of the issue and the other would be the cost of doing it. If I can somehow get the material for a little cheaper, then I will be able to keep a decent price for people. Otherwise it's easier to deal directly with JPM Coachworks. The material just costs too much if your buying a yard or two at a time. It wouldn't be worth for to many people if I just tried to break even. |

I'm sure anythings possible but I've had an automotive business for a couple years and I found that I'm just good at doing work and I'm terrible at business. I would definitely need a good business partner to lock in some deals. I'm too soft for that

Can I see your interior in person at one point? I'm currently living in Gorham, ME for school.
