I didn't see what turbo you were running? Also do you have a snap of the dyno report with RPM in the picture?
Good numbers and build. |

Nice build! Get it to the track and see what it traps. I can't trust MAC's dyno!

Update, switched the car over to e85 and sheared all the gear teeth off second gear last saturday, rebuilt the trans with a spare I had in the garage but certainly can't be doing any launching until my Driveline mod list gets longer. |

^That's 1st, reverse, and 2nd. Only the OEM 5MT has 3rd pressed on in that picture.
It does show how much beefier the 6MT is (even compared to a "built" 5MT). More pics of stock 2011 WRX 5MT vs PAR 5MT here: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2378816 |

Fuji, still going back and forth between the 6 speed swap or the built 5 speed, I think I feel like a built 5 speed will maybe holdup a bit longer? I dunno....decisions decisions
Just noticed the 6 speed main shaft, that's actually 1st gear at the top there? It has to be like 2.5" wide! Last edited by skizzler; 05-15-2014 at 12:05 PM. Reason: jaw drop |

Lol oops sorry, where did 3rd go?
On the 6spd reverse is with 1st. You can see the width of first on the gear slightly where it meshes together. When the 6spd is put next to the 5spd gears, you can clearly see how much wider they are. PPG has larger teeth, but not the width. |

The OEM 6MT is stronger than an aftermarket 5MT. There's just a lot more room for bigger gears.
Here you can see the stock 5MT vs. the PAR 5MT. The teeth are a lot bigger, but the gears are barely any wider. |

Xluben, thanks for that pic, everything I'm reading says 6 speed over built 5 speed, might just be going that route now. Thanks

06-07 wrx is push style, so used 06 flywheel, clutch, pressure plate(bigger contact surface) Input shaft on the trans is the same, bolts right up. Makes breaking the clutch fork really easy

So with 478whp you were able to click off a 13.0 at 110
I would say its off by about 100whp |

Yah that run was at bandimere opening day, the car was only seeing 16psi then, the dyno pull was 2 weeks later with the car at 21psi, regardless I agree those numbers feel inflated, got another dyno appt at a different place in a couple weeks so I can find out how different they are
