I dont think the A2 is sport utility though. It's a car, totally different from the Asstek.

some ugly red color

Another great hatch that the US will not see. The A2 sounded really cool in the article, of course it only has a 1.4 litre engine, that only puts out 94 hp, but still it is a hatch, and Car magazine loved it. It also gets good gas mileage. Does anyone want to start a pool as to when the A1 comes out? Audi just keeps getting lower and lower numbers. Of course, the A1 will have to be two door. And with all the other technology, they will have to throw a trunk monkey in as standard equipment.

For some odd reason, the A2 is very trendy right now. I saw quite a few when i was in London a few weeks ago.
There is even one encased in glass (at Canary Wharf) as if it was a piece of art.

I can't see the fascination myself.

First, if anyone copied anyone else it was Pontiac copying Audi. The A2 has been on the drawing board for a while now. It is way to small to be an Aztec anyway-Blech, what a piece of crap that thing is. The A2 is a quirky little city car that is one of the hottest auto's in europe. Not quite my style, but very innovative. Gets terrific MPG also-70 or something. I'm with why? We wont see it here

Thumbs up

Just pointing out that the Audi is a heck-of-alot smaller than an Astek (saw a red Asstech [pun intended] yesterday, blah!)

Does look like a focus 5-door with the Aztecks rear door and Audi wheels... They took the best of the 3 and put them together

Surely the A2 is about a million miles away from a Pontiac SUV. The two could have come from different planets, the philosophies are that different (unless the Pontiac weighs 895 kg, has an aluminium spaceframe, a 1.4 l engine and manual transmission).
