I actually initially purchased an 06 lagacy i"" without looking for a Subaru at all. I was 17 and was looking for my first vehicle that was not a pos. I was looking for mileage, comfort, style, and handling. I also needed to 4 door to be practical. When I was at the dealership he had me test drive it. The car also had a 5 speed that I loved. once I drove it, I was hooked. I picked up the car the next day and racked up 80K miles over the next 5 years. At that point, I had learned I could have gotten all the features of my car, and for a few more bucks, had a turbo. I sold that car and a year later Im driving my 07 legcay spec b. I absolutely love it. currently have DP and back, exedy clutch, perrin tmic, COBB sf intake and perrin turbo inlet, walbro fp, cobb ap, and a custom tune done at surgeline tuning. Also have perrin PSRS. my only complaint is the itty bitty vf-46 that runs out of steam way too far before redline.

I was shopping a new Impreza 5dr but the Legacy was quieter on the road, had better seats and the trunk keeps my music gear out of sight.
I'm diggin it. |

BECAUSE I HAVE A SUNROOF. That, really, is my main reason for owning a legacy.

I loved my legacy. Was stylish, sleeper, and very sleek looking. Looks more of a family car with class.

The legacy is the more grown up WRX. I traded un my 2012 WRX hatch, as I needed a more professional and family sized car. The WRX was a beast when it got into boost, and the Legacy is a lot smoother when the power comes in. I am a Subaru guy and love there cars.

I have a 97 Legacy OBW, 97 Impreza and 04 WRX and nothing compares to the practicality, utility and comfort of the Legacy. Granted the Impreza is the most fun to drive and the WRX will smoke anyone on the streets around here... But at the end of the day when work needs to get done and I need a solid machine that can handle everything from hauling a washing machine and dryer
to being the easiest car in the world to work on to delivering pizza in the snow to hauling a canoe to the lake to spurt of the moment camping to driving the distance of here to the moon without a hiccup, without knowing beforehand what I may need to do that day... My Legacy is the only answer. She showed me love and never let me down, so I show her love back, My Legacy is my legacy. |

Lid closed and front seats didn't have to be moved forward at all! I honestly couldn't believe it myself after I fit it in there. Full size machines too, I only had that one chance to recover the units before the house was sold so I had to make it happen.

I know of a lot of shops that use them for part getters, they certainly are tough cars. I know Subaru considers it an SUV fighter because it really does everything and SUV can do but better.

When I found my 99 30th anniversary legacy with only 46k miles for $4000 I couldn't pass it up! It is my new daily and keeps the miles off my 2000 swapped rs.
It is so clean it still smells like new inside, not an ounce of rust either! That's why I drive a legacy |
