Well after about 183500 Miles, the drivers side head gasket has began letting go. Lucky for me its only leaking a small amount, and its coming out of the back of the head. Still no overheating yet, and after an oil change, nothing going into the oil.
101k of the miles have been from the last 4.5 years alone with multiple rally/autocrosses, road trips accross the country, and a few late night cannonball runs 500-900 miles at 100+mph for hours on end. These cars don't make much for power, but considering the abuse I've given it I'm very impressed. Car has always had full synthetic oil changes every 3-5k miles. I plan to pull the motor, regasket everything, deck the heads, and get her back in and running! My Instagram handle is @don_ross20 for anyone interested! https://www.instagram.com/p/BlQg6VojgN7/

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone on here knows how to adjust the headlights horizontally on an 08 Impreza. My driver's side headlight is pointing too much to the passenger side and I can't see while driving at night. I only see the vertical adjustment bolt but can't find the horizontal adjustment bolt. Thanks.

Agreed. Handles much better than a mustang. I took on a 2011? Cobra and I had the total advantage. The mustang couldn’t hook up.

Iv'e been running an 08 2.5i 5spd since 2011. Great car. It has been over the backroads of the bighorn Mtns twice, and all over the black hills as a flyfishing and camping support machine. It has also done great as a year round, round the clock commuter in the black hills is all weather conditions. Now, after a move it serves commuting duty in the Kansas City area. has 175k on the clock now, has not been babied and has never left me stranded(other than the time I locked the keys in it). My current issue is the low beams. I feel like I am overdriving them about 50mph. I ordered some GE megalight +130 bulbs. Hopefully that fixes it. Are weak low beams a problem for you guys and gals? Feel free to chime in with your experiences or fixes.

Anyone swap a WRX bumper onto an 08-10 impreza or Impreza outback sport? And also the STI spoiler. I have an STI muffler I am going to put on my 09 or 10 and am uncertain how to know before investing a ton of $ on this. The Sub guys all have differing opinions. If someone else has posted about this let me know. Thank you in advance.
I would have searched this myself but when I go to either search bar it is not allowing me to type and throwing me out. Fun. Last edited by Bex_inMT; 02-21-2020 at 04:02 PM. Reason: Added why I did not search before posting |

I had replaced my front and rear bumpers from a 09 WRX on my hatchback earlier this month.
If you have the flared bumpers they're essentially identical - I had the non-flared version so my rear bumper holder by the wheel wells were about an inch or so shorter. Front bumper will fit 100% fine |

Saw a stock satin white hatchback on the streets and decided to pull up to take a photo.
Can anyone spot the differences between the cars? lol |

I'm seeing what is the popular aftermarket exhausts most people are running on their hatches. The hatch I bought the previous owner put a muffler tip on it and I'm not a fan of it. Like to see what people have. Thanks.

I had a single-tip 2008 WRX catback. Fitted like a glove, subtle rumble sound.
