Default Follow UP on v34 stock up pipe/misfires

My last thread got deleted so this is just an up-date. ok so what i belived to be a stock up pipe to the v34. turned out to be a stock (gutted) up pipe. So i took the turbo in anyway and its still good. But i alrady overnighted a new aftermarket up-pipe, so i installed it anyway. And guess what the car runs exactly the same. it runs perfect unless under full boost (wich i have set at 15 becuse at 19 i got boost spike) so it will get to around 4000rpm and start choking and sputtering till redline in 3rd 4th and 5th gears. then ocasionaly throw a flashing p0304 (misfire in #4) code.

I still have the coolant leak from some where.

The car still has the 93 octain tune, while im running 90octain with the timing set back 3 degres across the board.

but the car was running fast with this tune untill i put the 3 inch down pipe back on and got boost spike so i turned down the boost and now im getting this sputtering/choking/misfire under full boost. any ideas?

I have a pretty similar setup. 02 bugeye with vf34 catless. I had similar problems with high boost, i was overboosting bad, and actually had fuel cuts because of over boost.

I just got it protuned, and the tuner noticed that i was actually running very lean with the Cobb ots vf34 map and that was causing a bunch of issues. not sure if you are having a similar problem but once i got tuned im running great, not nearly as lean, much safer map.

Yeah the sputtering feels exactly like the fuel cuts i was getting with boost spike. i dont think theres anywhere to get a pro tune within around 400 miles of here though.... so any other ideas? the car is on the turbo xs stage 4 base map i belive.
