Default Is anyone running a EBC with Cobb stage2.5???

I am getting ready to install a EBC on my '02 WRX. However, I am currently running Cobb's stage 2.5. I have heard that Cobb's maps are fairly mild on power and are rich on fuel. Due to this, I was thinking that running an extra 1-2 lbs. of boost would be fairly safe. I was just wondering if anyone was currently running a EBC with their stage 2.5 and what kind of results or recommendations you could give me. Thanks in advance.

Try it and let us know

Seriously I agree with Bren. While it sounds like it might be a good idea in theory, generalizations like that don't usually hold true. Engine management is a little bit more complicated than that.

Yeah I would only reccomend using a MBC or ABC if you dont reach target boost from say a mechanical problem such as a weak or broken wastegate spring. If your looking to add boost your better off finding someone with the protuner. Not only will you add boost, but power safely. Good luck!

I agree. Without datalogging with wideband and EGT's I wouldnt feel confident doing that. There are some people who arent overly rich on the basemaps. Besides, timing and fuel need to be optimized to make more power....its not all just adding more boost.
