Default New switch in the new WRX?

If you look next to the foglight and cruise control button there is a new switch.

Anyone know what it is for?

Also notice the time on the clock....... 555 baby!!!

Ding, ding, ding. My '03 Forester has a bunch of stuff that the '04 Imprezas seem to be getting. Wiper heaters, seat heaters, chrome shift knob trim and door handles, cruise light, Weather band radio....

wouldn't the wiper heater be attached to the rear defroster (ie heated mirrors)?

But I believe you...

and thanks for the answer.... can't wait to order it!

It is the windshield wiper heater/de-icer. It is it's own separate circuit on the Forester.

The outside mirror heaters are wired together with the rear window defroster and act as a single unit with the switch in the middle of the dash. The seat heater switches are in the center console near the handbrake lever.

What happened to the semi auto climate control?
The picts showing the new system, compared to this pict, did NOT have
a "fresh"/"recirc" lever control. The auto climate system has a sensor, this one doesn't.

What gives?

The semi-auto air is usually an option. I'm surprised that they didn't take a picture of a fully loaded WRX though. I'm sure it will be available. Basically, there is no sufficient reason to think that they would delete that option but add the option of seat heaters, etc.

Ah..I see. My mistake. I was under the impression that the semi-auto was now a standard feature.
