Yeah, either monsoon season or snow…or dry pavement make it such that anything else is a rolling death trap.

power is down, "curve is flattened"... sounds like similar excuses from Subaru and Honda...
Clean looking honda. Seen a few of the new civics on the road and it generally looks pretty good. Gotten really big though, like an accord. |

At this rate we would be lucky to get 300hp from the new CTR.

"Honda claims the new powerband is now broader overall and now peaks at a higher RPM, which should improve responsiveness, performance and driveability across a wider range." I think it's probably worth the 5hp. The last motor was torquey and nice, but it ran out of steam too fast. |

Could be. Hopefully they have a higher redline than 6100 rpm...

EDIT: they never paired up the old Si mill with the CVT, did they? Anyway, more revs more better. EDIT2: https://www.autoblog.com/2021/10/19/...c-si-revealed/ Quote:

That plastic cladding is looking better and better . I hope at the very least they solved the fuel dilution issues and the rev hang.

Also makes me think the -5 hp was to eliminate rev hang, broaden torque curve and increase MPG, something had to be sacrificed. |

And, is excessive fuel dilution really an issue for cars that will rarely see temps below 40F? I don't think so. |

No one has really noticed but this 11th Gen Si has lost the electronic adjustable suspension. What a shame, the 10th Gen has a lot going for it in the bang for your buck section, especially when the used car market cools off. |

Looks like no adaptive dampers, no heated seats. Also, read that the 2016 1.5T touring made more power than 2022 1.5T touring on the PRL dyno but haven't looked into it. I just saw pricing for the 1.5T HB touring too, over 30K. This is not looking as great of a package as I thought it would be.

That's something that most of the initial articles didn't touch on. That's something that peaked my interest in the 10th gen Si as it was unique at the price point despite not having huge power numbers. Maybe this is something they are shifting to the Integra.
