Default will a cobb tune work for a front mount intercooler

hi, i am a new member of nasioc and am very happy to be here. anyways, recently i got my hands on a nice 2002 wrx front mount intercooler for free and im stoked, only problem is im not sure a cobb tune will cover this mod. right now i have the vf30 91octane tune installed running 20-23psi. i also have a vf34 tune and an sti tune. on the car i have a walbro 255 with injectors equivelent to sti injectors, tdo6 20g turbo, full catless exhaut(headers, up pipe, and turboback , stock tgvs gutted, stock tmic, turboXs bov, silicone turbo inlet, and cold air intake. I know this tune doesnt match my upgrades but i dont have the $$$ for a pro tune and my last engine lasted 211,xxx miles with these upgrades so i say thats a good long life haha...
So my questions are
will a fmic do fine with one of those cobb tunes?
will it cause any dangerous conditions, lean ect...?
Thanks in advance and hope i can figure this out without trial and error
Seth

Nope. You’ll need a custom tune

If you are tuned for your other mods then YES, your tune will still be fine with a front mount.
The only thing a tune would do for a better performing intercooler is extract MORE power. So obviously you won't be getting a benefit from the new unit but from a safety standpoint the tune will be fine.

AFAIK, there is no OTS tune that supports a catless exhaust or a 20G. The FMIC is the least of your worries in terms of installed mods that aren't accounted for in your tune file.

You have the follow knowledge to learn:

1. When you use stage maps, you must 100% follow the mod list they say is supported.
2. When you stray outside of the mod list, even if your Cousin Jimmy has been doing the same thing since Kennedy was in office, you are playing Russian Roulette with 5/6 bullets in the chamber.

Don't come here asking if running non-stage mapped parts is fine. Don't come here asking if juggling chainsaws is fine. Those are the same two items.

yea it sounds like he's already running a bunch of mods on a OTS tune so might as well throw on a hella low scraping front mount.
