With aftermarket EL headers and an open source tune for 91 octane, grin factor is definitely increased
What kind of power gains or what kind of power is it making with those mods?

How long have you been running this set up? And where did you get your tune? I really want to do these. It doesn't sound like it can hurt my engine/trans. Would also seek increasing grin factor haha

To go back a few pages...

I decided to try and find the bolts with my new magnet stick. I open my trunk and they already rolled out by themselves.

PROBLEM SOLVED!

Full specs are here:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...9#post38492169

Been running the major engine mods & tune for a year or so. I plan on keeping this car as long as possible so everything I do to it must be safe & reliable. As long as you get a decent tune there should be no problems. STI Mikey tuned the car (e-tune).

Power gains? No idea, I would be curious to get the car on the dyno at some point, but the numbers are not a priority.

I payed about $300 for front and rear plus all 5 headrest. I noticed when ordering for my sedan the only option included center arm rest which I don't have. So, I ordered hatch rear seat covers. Only issue was the hole for the seat release wasn't lined up but I cut a new hole and it looks fine.

Hey fancy I've been meaning to ask u, Is the wrx dead pedal only available with a carpet swap? I was looking into swapping out my pedals since the clutch n brake r just only covers. Only work would be the accelerator pedal.

No you can buy dead pedals. They are held into the carpet from 2 black push pins. Mine just came with my carpet as a perk.

nah, that was just a ****ty cellphone pic. But actually, the beam pattern is 95% identical to the halogen pattern. I have very minimal glare, if any at all. Theres a pretty sharp cutoff.

I had some ghetto HID kit in my car for not even 1 week. Same car as you, the glare was terrible.

Looked cool sure, but it ended up bugging me not being able to see properly.

Look into your state statutes. I would go with it will be illegal to tamper with.

I'm 99% sure it's illegal to tamper with any functioning emissions system in a car in every state. How strictly it's enforced is a different story. As long as you're not in California you should be okay
