I've made a quick video of the intake sound! Sorry for wind noise; I'm new with the GoPro but I'll post another video when I get my perfect adjustments

Looking forward to the review. On the Stillen website this kit shows up as an AEM product?

That's odd. I think it might have been pulled down until CARB is passed.

any more feedback on this intake? Power gains true? Motors running safe without a tune?

How is it that every other intake needs a tune and this one doesnt?
What did they do differently?

30whp from this intake with no tune? When everyone on every board says the OEM intake is good to 350whp or more? And that every intake must have a tune or you will grenade the motor? Something doesnt make sense

Ive never owned a Turbo motor, but I have had MAF sensored NA and Supercharged engines since 1995 and in those, an Intake change never necessitated a Tune (true you get more WITH one but the MAF sensor and ECU could always adjust. Did Subaru just not engineer this thing with much if any adjustability?

I installed it and uninstalled it, installed it and uninstalled it to do some road testing. After about two thousand miles, i sold it. My target AFR wouldn’t line up with without significant AFR learning values, which I didn’t care for.

I am also pretty certain it offers no power improvement as well. IATs went up a bit as well, which is somewhat expected.

Interesting .. I've been skeptical that a CAI is of much use on an intercooled FI motor. Previous cars with Turbos's (BMW 535i, Outback XT) didn't benefit much. Stillen's claims of 30 hp, even without a tune, are hard to believe.

We kind of see this airboxes vs. pods on motorcycles ... they sound nice, and have good potential for gains, but only at specific RPM ranges and with carbs, they can be very hard to tune.

Thanks for the feedback!
