, that way it wont attempt to use the "vulnerable" parse_url() function. Which the three ///'s escape out of and php will then attempt to eval() the code directly behind the /'s

dont know, give it a whirl...

might some mod or some custom code that nick has... If it isnt, it will be bad as i have a hunch that if someone was up to no good they could passthru() system commands, or include remote php files (depending on server config).
