Default What'd you do to your subie today?

I don't think we've had one of these in General for awhile. So, without further ado, here's what I did to my subie today:

Wiretucked my accessport wire

And I got my stuck cupholder working. It's amazing how much crud can build up in ~15 years!

How bout you all?

Taped over the mouth of the milk jug (Gorilla tape is amazing) and installed a shifter block. The stupid Harbor Freight ramps I have, that actually fit under the lip of my car, wouldn't hold still when I drove the car up them, so I'm attempting again this weekend.

Yesterday I got a razorblade stuck in my tire. Since it was a holiday and no dealership/tire shop was open I decided to put my winter wheels on until I bought new tires or found a used tire for sale. Upon installing my winter wheels I snapped a lug nut and now it wont come off. I'm beyond happy with how things are going lately.

I drove it to work and parked it. Tonight I plan on taking it on a proper test drive to fully see how much nicer it handles after having most of the front suspension replaced last week.

Ice silver metallic. It could be the filter that's throwing it off

Picked up a stock 04 STi exhaust to bolt up to the aftermarket DP to try and quiet things down a bit.

If it works, will get a q300.

I wrapped my FMIC piping with the Gold heat shield tape..

Not sure if it does anything. But from the feel of the piping I havent covered compared to the covered, the covered is a lot cooler.

Before that a shift knob.

Dragged the RS RA off the front lawn with the outback. The pushed it back into its original spot.
Now to actually get it running again - new battery, put turbo on, second hand ECU that works.

Installed an Invidia Q300 on my 2017 FXT. Looks great. Sounds cool. Per reviews it is quiet but has a very strong bass tone to it. Install was easy; took all of about an hour.

Honestly, not a 100 percent sold on the sound. Will see how (if) it changes with some miles on it.

Installed wrx shifter trim into my obs.

Right now I'm running two different tests for leather care.

1)Clean with saddle soap then follow up with leather conditioner. So far it looks new but not much softening

and 2)An ebrake boot lathered up in neatsfeet oil overnight. Will be checking up on it tomorrow to see if it has softened up ^.^

Whichever turns out to be better, I will use the same method on my new shift boot
