I got a Agile Protune
So i went to Agile to get my car tuned on thursday. I started at 226whp and 273 ft/lbs of torque.My car is a 2006 WRX limited and my mods are 3inch catless turbo back,SPT intake, Cobb access port with stage II reflash. After 6 passes Hill had my car sitting at 251whp and 313 ft/lbs of torque. So today i went to the track and got my new best times.Before the protune I did a 13.8@100 with a 2.01 60ft. After 2 passes i popped off a 13.64@101 with a 1.90 60ft. Then i did 13.65@101 with a 1.87 60ft.That pass the car had wheel hop and i figured after 5 passes the tranny and clutch needed a break but im very happy with my new best time. Im very happy with the end result with Agile. They are great people to deal with. They are very friendly. I would deffinetly go there again if i decide to mod my car more.

car went faster because of a better 60'. you picked up 26hp 40ft your et and mph should have jumped up more.

13.6 is pretty respectable at stg2. I thought you would have run a higher trap speed with the tune though... but the question is how does it feel? I'm sure that extra torque is nice.

funny thing about that is i dont feel that much of a difference in the first 2 gears.where i feel the difference is 3rd-4th.they pull much harder.3rd is running around 16.5psi and 4th is at 18psi.i thought i would trap 102-103 myself but maybe my driving wasnt that great i dunno.

well im scared to shred my tranny so im takin it easy.I dunno if one of my shifts are off. coming off the line i dont have much time to go into 2nd so i might be late on that. then going to third im shifting around 6200.same with 4th. So im not sure either.I thought my trap should be higher 2.so maybe its my driving??

Very nice numbers!
hill tuned my 06 WRX two years ago and all I had on the car is hks hi power exhaust and helix catless dp running cobb accessport v1...only made 242 whp and 292 ft/tq. my car consistanly has hit 13.0 flat at 104.xmph with a 1.84 60' and has dipped into the 12.9x's at 105 with a 1.80 60' after being tuned..this is on re-070's. I also have ppg's 1-4 so the gearing might help a little. This is stock turbo full weight interior - the spare and jack. Car has been running that same tune problem free 2 years strong now...Hill does some great work. I'll be looking forward to getting retuned with him when I swap turbos and add meth. |
