Default what did you guys pay for your STi's ?

Looking at trading up. If I sell mine, I'm getting an Sti. How much did you all pay? I know that the invoice is $29,130. And there is a hold back of $930. So that makes it really like $28,200.

if your looking to trade up why would you be putting in a jdm rear window with a wiper? to me it's like throwing money away because i dont think you would get anymore money for the car.

just a thought

$30289.00 from Auburn Subaru.

Options were turbo gauge, auto dimming mirror, wheel locks, upgraded security system.

Invoice on my car is $29,603, so that's $686 over invoice.

6 months ago I woulda been happy paying MSRP ($32,294).

You should be able to get one now for about invoice or less.

Well, I'll wait to install the window. If it doesn't sell soon, I'll just keep it. I can resell the window or maybe it would fit in the STi. I'm still waiting to put in my STi hood scoop. I'll slam a Turbo XS stage 3 or 4 in it. I pay dealer cost on that.
I wanted to buy an Sti before they hit the lots but the dealer made it sound like they would only have 1 or 2 and I figured that they were really going to mark them up so I bought a 03 for a good deal just as the 04 was rolling on the lots. I liked the sunroof option but didn't care for the front. But now I like the back so I'll have to start combing the wrecking yards.

This is appleways story on the last blue sti on their lot:

Mike,

Invoice on this car is $29630.00. Holdback is not negotiable.

What do you feel would be a fair profit over invoice?

Let me know.

Cory

Someone told me to buy as far away from microsoft as possible...heres a microsoftie trying to unload his for a bit too much i think:

I've seen that car on campus. He's put a lot of work into it. The stongaurd is awesome, and the setero is very well done. He's put like 4 or 5 thousand bucks into it in aftermarket stuff like that. $31,000 is damn cheap for an STI with low miles and all that stuff.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, that's the Auto-Detailing section of the Pro Club parking garage on 148th ave...it's always good to take a picture of the newly washed car.

(edit)

I'm going to be buying an STi sometime in the next few weeks. I've been talking to all the dealerships nearby (Carter, Chaplin, Eastside, Renton) and so far it looks like I can get one with wheel locks, boost gauge, and the upgraded security system for $28,900 incl. destination. It seems like a good deal considering that, just 2 weeks ago, Chaplin was telling me that they couldn't do less than $31k for an STi with just the security system.

Just curious, why would you be on a list for an 05 Sti when there are 04's in the showrooms?

Werd. . . . are you just saving up money for a down payment or something?

Might as well save some money and get an 04 that's already on the lot somewhere.
