Yeah... hard to justify spending so much money. Just gonna wait till someone wants to get rid of their Cobb catback for their 2011 in a few years

I wouldn't kind spending the coin on the invidia only because I like having same parts on my car, invidia header, up-pipe, dp, cbe. silly I know but its okay

would like to see hks or greddy to give off their lazy ass and make an exhaust for the sedan, they've had the sedan for forever and a day now. . .

HKS is not sitting on their butts. I have the HKS ES Premium on my car. The question is will you pay north of $1500 for the system. If you want the system, go to your authorized HKS dealer and have them contact HKS USA to order. It should be available in the US shortly.

Greddy is busy with development, but they are also planning to make an exhaust system for the STI as well. The Greddy system is also likely to be north of $1k.

Quick question...

Will all 2008+ STi (hatch) cat-back exhausts fit the 2011 WRX hatch?

just a word of warning from someone who has purchased like 5 different exhaust systems for various cars over the years, the youtubes rarely sound anything like the real deal. you can use youtube to get a general feel for the sound, but if you are basing your decision off of it .. try to attend a local meet and hear it in person!

nothing is worse then dumping a grand only to be disappointed.

This is for sure. And all of the other things that can change the sound like DPs, intake, headers, turbo, etc... and even the tune....

Does anyone have some real world input about the SPT exhaust and droning in a hatch?

I have the spt on my 2011 hatch. One of the best sounding exhausts I've had imo for a daily driver. Dosent drone, sounds amazing at WOT but not too loud.

I like how the left and right exhausts are not even on the Perrin... My friend has it on his WRX sedan.

Anyone an 11' Sedan WRX/STI and have the Invidia N1 Street CBE or TBE with a decent quality vid...not just idling? Rev and maybe driving? Every video I seem to find is the Race set up but I am looking for a catted DP and resonated CBE, the Race is too farty or raspy for my liking also I want to see how the single tip looks with the 11' new rear bumpers

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'll try to get some video clips of this sometime this week but as of this past weekend, I now have the SPT exhaust on my 2011 WRX Sedan. OMG! It sounds amazing!! It is simply bada$$!! It actually might be a little bit too loud but after driving around this weekend, I've decided I absolutely love it. I should add that just like the stock exhaust, it sounds completely different than the SPT exhaust for the hatchback (which I believe uses 1 muffler instead of the 2 that I have?). Anyway, it's so deep and rumbles at just the right tones. I couldn't be happier! I wish I had gottena clip of the stock vs. the SPT but just the SPT exhaust clip will have to do.

Looks great, Sounds Amazing, and it's fully covered under warranty!! What's not to like! (I'm referring specifically to the sedan, not the hatchback. I would probably recommend something else for a hatchback)

BTW before someone takes offense at my post above ^^^ I just want to reiterate that I've heard numerous complaints about the hatchbacks stock and SPT exhaust simply not sounding as good as the sedans. It's a totally different design for both systems. The Sedans use 2 seperate mufflers, one on each side for both the stock and the SPT. The hatch, if I understand correctly, uses one larger muffler which is centered under the bumper and then it has the pipes coming out to the tips. I'm not saying it sucks on the hatch, however, there is a reason that a Limited hatchback comes with an SPT package (the exhaust and some stickers) whereas the sedan does not. I'm 99.9% sure that's because of how much louder the SPT sedan exhaust is (that's also what the service guy at the dealership told me). So again, no offense to hatchback owners. Just stating facts and opinions....
