I'll put my vote in here and re-iterate that I think it's best to stick with the HTA68 until your motor stays in one piece for more than a few months.

He's on his third motor. I don't think he has any budget or goals other than to go faster. It has a built motor and a 6 speed swap.

**** if thats the case, then whatever the hell you want! we have no idea what you want out of your car. i am assuming you dont want a small, snappy-torque turbo cus you have already got one. Jumping to the other end of the spectrum i would look at a rotated 30 or 35R. hell get the GTX one with the billet wheel they got out now.

Thanks guys for all your help typical NASIOC. Anyway I have the following:
HTA68, FIC 800, 255 LPH, AEM intake, Perrin inlet, HSF-2 Meth, AP UELH, EBCS, Full stage-2 catted DP, 6 spd swap, built stage-1 block, pro-tune, TGV delete, FMS FMIC (same as Ben), AP PRo-Tune. Looking for a fast spooling turbo, to make more power than I am at 350+ WHP, 373 Wtq. I was thinking of just coating the HTA hotside, porting and being done? Yes Ben im gonna try to keep it all togehter. But was contemplating, a CXR500 (but read a bunch of seal issues), DOM 3XTR (maybe too big) or maybe trying the HTA71. It is a daily driver, no racing at all. |

If you'd have ponied up this info in the first place, you probably would have gotten less snarky comments. Don't get angry because you came in with "I wanna be fastAR! RAWR!"

You wont find a larger turbo that will spool better then your current setup. You can get comparable spool with a larger turbo with a smaller hotside but then wont really make much more power, but will be able to do so using less boost.

Recommend for what???
You still haven't provided ANY goals other than "more power". Do you want 360whp? 380whp? 420whp? 600whp? 1500whp? We can't help you until you first decide what you want. Lay out some ACTUAL CONCRETE goals, and THEN people can provide suggestions on how to achieve them. |

You need to post your power goals if want help with turbo selection.
I would suggest upgrading your fuel setup and switching to E85 if you have it available. You could probably run more boost on your current setup and get more power out of your setup. I'm at 350 whp and 430 trq with a stock turbo and E85. If you can't run E85 and just want a bigger turbo that still has good spool, I would look at the DOM 1.5 XTR. From what I saw, it spools pretty quickly and should have the flow to get you into the upper 300's on gas or break into the 400's on E85. This is the upgrade path I'm taking when I'm ready for more than what I've got now. |

Suck your own dick, **** a fish, and then die. LIKE A BOSS!
But, yeah, there are some platforms out there that are just more suitable for 400+whp. If you're going to put so much money into a car, might as well buy a different one with 670hp and comes with a warranty. |

I was looking for 400WHP that can getup and go when needed, but wasnt a dog around town DD. I know it is probably an unrealistic goal, but nonetheless what I was looking for. I can get a brand new DOM3 XTR 3" inlet for cheap (compared to what it cost new). But really worried that around town I am going to hate it, when I went form the VF to HTA i noticed a difference in turbo lag (with FMIC) then the VF52 and AVO TMIC.
I was intrested in the new HTA71 w/the advance port cover 3", I thought that would be close to what I want. |

You're only getting 350whp on an HTA68 on meth? Seems low to me.
Anyway, with meth I think a TD06 20g could get you to 400whp with good spool. |

Yes, it is or is said to be a very low reading dyno. I was at 240WHP full stage-2 AVO TMIC 93 protune 20 PSI, then HTA68 protune and AVO TMIC 296WHP 21 PSI, then 315 WHP w/FMIC 21 PSI, then 338WHP new stage-1 SB, then like 360ish w/stage-1 SB, HSF-2 @ 22 PSI. We had to stop there because torque was rising to 375, and I was still on the stock 5 spd, then as we did the last run, white smoke.
Is there any specific LGT type fitement 20G you are partial to? |

I went from an hta68 to a Blouch 20G-XT and was very happy with the difference. I'd recommend either a 20G-XT or XTR. You won't lose much spool but will gain a decent amount of top end compared to the smallish TD05 hta68.

Thanks all, Ben i am staying with my 5000 mile HTA68, going with a larger hot side on it, coating it, a whole new custom header uppipe and DP kit, custom 73mm intake. Good advice, thanks.
Gonna run it to 25 PSI, getting the billet actuator, turbo blanket. |

Well i went with the Kamak 20GTX STS turbo, was going to go twin scroll 20G, but was too much money. I will be posting results after teh motor is back in. We are going with a one off Header and up pipe build as well as a non-catted DP (had a catted version).
