Default Wheel Spacers?

Are there any cons to installing 1" wheel spacers on a subaru? I've seen a few videos but wondering if anyone has run into issues with them.

Or even using offset sizes like 1" front 1.25-5" rear??

Well, you may have clearance issues with the fender running wheel spacers at those numbers. So depends on the wheels and tires you have. It'll also depend on the hardware your spacers come with, how strong they are.

What are you trying to achieve?

Thanks, I'd be probably going with 16-17 inch at the largest for wheels. Tires not sure, so you're saying i'd have to take tire sizing into consideration at those rim sizes?

I want to have a wider wheel base/ fitment with fenders.

This this site: https://www.willtheyfit.com/

It'll give you a visual of what your before and after looks like WITHOUT the spacers. You can then factor in the spacer size to consider how much further out your wheels/tires will go.

Tire size certainly impacts it especially if your new wheels will already push to the edge of rubbing the fender.

oh man, great resource thanks. Other than fitment issues, does extending the wheel base on subarus mess anything up mechanically?
