![]() I am throwing an 04 Forester XT engine into an 06 NA impreza. I am redoing the clutch in the impreza transmission and I am wondering if there is a difference between the NA and turbo flywheels? Should I just throw a stock Impreza flywheel on it?

![]() I've been told to use the clutch and flywheel that is designed for the transmission you're using, NOT the engine you're swapping. Sorry, I don't know how those two flywheels differ from each other. I would find a parts diagram for the two models and see if the flywheels are interchangeable.

![]() Yep, they're different. Turbo flywheels are heavier and have a different clutch setup. Use a turbo flywheel and clutch to match the engine

![]() 5mt flywheels are interchangeable. it's mainly down to preference. swap the impreza one if you prefer a lighter solid flywheel. keep the xt if you want smoother idle dual mass flywheel.
