![]() I pressed the button that turns on the skidding tire icon on the dash with "off". But when I spin the tires, I get an identical pop-up in another part of the dash with the same icon. Anyway to completely turn off traction/stability control?

![]() Check if your owner's manual instructs how to turn it off completely. Owner's manuals can be surprisenly helpful sometimes.
Not sure about your '19 Imprezza, but in my '15 WRX I hold the traction control button as it cycles through trac mode, until it sayf off, then I release the button. |

![]() usually traction control and stability control are two different things controlled by the same button.
I can't remember how my STI worked but my other two cars that have it both need you to push and hold that button. Initially just one turns off, but if you hold it down after a few seconds the 2nd one will turn off also |
