those vans are sketchy as f*&% , i saw one in tempe the other day and on my way back down the same road i was looking for him and i couldnt see him until i passed him cause he was parked so low key behind a tree and everything...

SPOTTED!! LOL I saw my first PHOENIX radar van on Indian School just east of 44th street. it was parked on the access street that runs parallel to Indian School. Phoenix is catching up with Scottsdale.

I don't know if its listed in here, but there's a van fairly regularly on Rio Salado between Rural and McClintock on the South side.

jimbo is right, some are triggered by piezo sensors in the pavement, there is on in scottsdale that you can pick up with radar cause it was the first camera they installed iirc

That sucks does anyone know if radar detectors are illegal here or not? I just moved here from Iowa so I don't know.

They are not, but the permanent cameras aren't run off of radar.

Glad to see this one was added. It's odd though, cause it doesnt look like your typical locations for the cameras. It looks like the angle of them is to catch cars that are running the Red Left turn signal.

Chris_M, don't they seem like they are facing the intersection at an odd agle?

haha its all good. I'm a visual person so it helps to see on a map where these places are. Kinda funny how the # of cams jumps the closer you get to college town....
