![]() Ive got their Rocker Panels and those rear cover pieces on order. Little pricey though.
I swear just the designing/shipping of the Cladding/Flares for the VB covers painting the rest of these pieces. Unsure why Subaru.jp thought this cost adding measure would be received well. ![]()

![]() - Color-matched flares and bumper pieces
- Brembos (or Cadillac BBK upgrade for much cheaper) - Coilovers - Cold air intake - Cobb Accessport - Aggressive offset wheels - Stickier tires - Perrin clutch delay valve delete - Window tint I'd call that good. I don't even think I'd PPF my WRX. I just don't think it's that special. Maybe if I had the option to buy the tS model, then I'd consider PPF. But not if I was modifying a Premium trim or whatever. At some point I'd do the STI transmission swap with the iWire kit and consider myself to be a happy camper at that point. |

![]() I've wrestled with the looks of every version of the WRX since the GC. And eventually I ended up liking them. The VB just has so many things going on with it though. It's like Subaru designers looked at the FK8 and said "Is that what people like? Let's add more fake vents and don't paint the cladding because you know...rally heritage..."
All jokes aside. Its a nice looking vehicle. It gets better with painted cladding. I saw a sweet ceramic white WRX with all painted cladding some months ago and an STI wing. It looked good. Still not feeling the taillights. I don't think I ever will. |

![]() I had a bugeye WRX, years ago. The new ones look ok, I'd be sold if I drove one, I'm sure.

![]() I’m seeing the tS already available for like 50-51k in some dealers. Like are people actually going to buy those? I’d ask for 45K and not a penny over

![]() Oh wow congrats dude! By all accounts that’s one hell of a car. Best driver focused EV out there. Only competition is the 3 Performance. But the Hyundai is hatch which is cool. Hope you’re enjoying it.

![]() Can confirm, they drive really nice. It actually angers me a little. Why can the 3 pedals play so well together for satisfying heel-toe in the turbocharged VB WRX while the NA BRZ/GR86 is a mess in comparison, need all sorts of little mods to get it to be half as user friendly?

![]() Very nice and the exact color I would have chosen. Used or new? I know new they are around $60k correct? Just wondering if you stuck it to them getting a lightly used one and letting them eat depreciation. Either way outstanding vehicle. Congrats.

![]() It's a lease and a good chunk of change off MSRP. Depreciation might be bleh, but I don't see anything in the pipeline I might trade it in for, but I have that option at the end of the lease or just buy the car outright if I still love it. |

![]() I love my Ioniq 5 still. Not the N, as I couldn't justify the price increase and they weren't discounting them at the time, but the 446 ftlb in the regular awd version is plenty for our use case. Just wish I had better control of the front/rear bias other than going to snow mode to get 50/50 distribution.

![]() Spoke with a dealer friend, TRs are anchor on the showroom floor even with 4-5k advertised discounts. No surprise here. They don't expect the WRX to make it another generation as SO Dealer had said last Summer maybe earlier. Subaru has pretty much thrown the towel in. Look at the TS, the red WRX badge is literally alibaba quality. Embarrassing.

Just a counter point. I don't doubt they aren't moving much at the higher prices. Ours could just be a spat and we don't sell another one for a long time. |

I looked at Subaru of New England website. They list all the New England inventory, they also nicely show the VIN numbers with having to click on the listing. 18 TR are in New England, 3x have 16xxx VIN and the rest are 18xxx and higher. So not one TR has been sitting in New England. I looked through some (not all) of the rest of 130 2024 WRX. I found have full of WRX with a Vin less than 10xxx. one was even 1xxx which I know that car has been sitting since last April. (As a side not, I kind off chuckled at the low VIN number because many of those are dealers that have a reputation of not not being price friendly) I am a little surprise that there was not one TR outlier. I went to Autostrade and saw 129 TR nationally listed. I sorted by cheapest price, I clicked on about a dozen TR and they all had 18xxx+ VIN numbers. It does seem like Subaru did a good job on accurately manufacturing the correct amount of the TR to match the demand. This is where what one dealer salesman or dealer reports isn't alway accurate to what is happening in the market. |

![]() I notice that you have stopped updating the Subaru WRX inventory. At it peak it was almost 4000 2024 WRX's. The 2025 WRX started hitting the lot 2 weeks ago. The number on Autotrader is down to 1000, which is less than 1 month of typical WRX sales. It actually seems like Subaru may have known what they were down when they built up inventory for the switch over to 2025.
