His name is Duncan. I believe his screen name is Dunk. He does a ton of road crouse racing, hence the need for the meat. Really cool guy. He's here in the MAIC.
This car is certainly not "hacked" up. It is done tastefully. The 275's are sitting on CCW's if that gives you an idea of the degree of this car. Quote:

The rear fenders have a pinch weld with the inner fender well. When you cut you need to either just cut the outer fender and then pound and stretch the inner fender to meet the cut and then re-weld. Or what I did was cut both the outer and inner fender and then had a piece of metal welded in to bridge the two. |

Sounds just like my cherokee. The rear wheel well was the same way. When I cut it, I did a "pizza" cut into the pinch welded area making tabs, and then folded those tabs over. It keeps enough of the pinch seam in tact, and then there is no welding.
Again, not something I am ready to do on the Suby, but something to think about. |

Ah yes. Those fenders would work up front but you'd still have to deal with the rear. Very true... very true. I stand corrected. Please post pic up and pics of the install progress as you go along. I'm interested as well.

They are conciderably wider than the previous fender flares we ran and since we needed to change the geometery of the suspension we had no choice as with the new ride height being 2" or more lower than we have previously ran we needed a bigger flare to cover our nasty tires. Mike |

the last picture. the rear just looks so damn beefcake. wanta trade for a bugeye? haha |
