Your cover letter has too many buzzwords and doesn't tell me anything about what you actually do.

I'm an extremely motivated individual anxiously seeking advancement in my career path.

Eager, not anxious. If you're anxious, you don't want to do something.

And you being an individual is redundant.

Research Aerospace Engineer, US Army Natick Soldier Research, Development, and Engineering Center (NSRDEC), 2007-Current.
-Created unique solutions to Army problems relating to airdrop technologies, -Planned, coordinated, and conducted fundamental experimental research on parachute and airdrop systems, including data acquisition used for validation of advanced numerical methods.
-Designed theoretical high drag systems, optimized configurations through computational fluid dynamics, tested prototype models, and effectively transitioned designs to desired full scale performance characteristics.
-Wrote MatLab scripts to process test data.
-Authored and co-authored papers for AIAA conferences.

Mechanical Engineer, Savant Systems, 2006 - 2007
-Designed, fabricated, and assembled home automation hardware with a heavy emphasis on the CAD design (Pro/E). Product design ranged from large and small chassis to injection molded living hinges to custom internal cabling, including DVI, USB, IEEE 1394, power and more.

-Tested and validated hardware systems and software loads.
-Worked as a member of multidisciplinary teams to design and integrate board layouts/designs with proposed hardware solutions.
-Worked with outside consultants to enhance product performance while controlling costs.
-Performed custom machining work as necessary.

Education
B.S. Mechanical Engineering with an Aerospace Engineering concentration, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, 2006.
I also have credits towards my M.S. in Mechanical Engineering

Location
Grafton, MA, although I am very open to relocation

Looking for:
Small company doing mechanical design work. It's something I excel at and enjoy doing. Basically it's exactly what I was doing at Savant for 18 months. The only reason that I left is that NSRDEC called me up and offered me a job cold. Since I focused in aerospace in college, I wanted to give it a try. The size of the government and red tape leaves me doing more paper work than engineering. I want to get back to being in the middle of it -- the fast paced, high demand environment. It's where I do my best.

I stole a pen from a guy that worked at Savant before.....

Any fed-up auto tech's in the Merrimack Valley want to get into parts? Or are you a parts counter person fed-up with your current local?

I am up for the Parts manager pos. at Commonwealth Kia. I am in need of a parts counter person, Reynolds experience a big plus but I can train you. So you need to have some decent experience with a computer. Pay is about average, but you have the ability to advance!

PM me or post here.

Good evening all, just a quick post, hopefully I will get around to updating this tomorow.

Looking for a new job/career field, currently I am working at a small Verizon Wireless retailer in Hingham MA, but my company just got bought out by a larger company.

Experience:
high-school grad with vocational diploma in I.T.
A+ certified (studying network+, security+, and server+ currently, MCSE in the future)
1 year in store PC repairs at staples in weymouth
6 months PC Sales and repairs at Circuit city (went out of business)
2.5 years cell phone sales and service Verizon wireless (currently employed)

Looking for full time job at least $35k+ a year, honestly doesn't matter in what field, I am an extremely fast learner, and great listener. feel free to PM me or email me at [email protected]

For those interested my company is hiring, right now all we have is a rather generic ad int he local paper:

ENGINEERS-HVAC, ELEC. Immediate openings for experienced HVAC and Electrical engineers. Ideal candidate shall have building systems design. CAD and/or RE-VIT experience a plus. Please send resume in confidence to: Garcia, Galuska & DeSousa, Inc. 370 Faunce Corner Road Dartmouth, MA 02747 e-mail: [email protected]

We are a consulting engineering company with right around 30 employees. We have a lot of work upcoming and quite frankly never got slow through the economy. Some sort of experience is probably the biggest but general drafting in CAD and REVIT will be HIGHLY helpful even if you don't have a lot of experience with actual designing. Listing was as of 12/5/2011
