Default 2009 WRX Rear Diff Fluid - Amsoil 75W-90 Gear Lube?

I had used Amsoil 75W-90 Gear oil in my girl friends 2009 WRX Transmission and I still have a bunch left over. Is this fluid ok to use in her rear differential also? I searched a bit and I am 99.9% confident that it is ok to use but I just wanted to confirm before I go putting it in and causing an issue.

Here is the stuff I have.

Synthetic Manual Transmission and Transaxle
Gear Lube 75W-90 API GL-4 (MTG)
Formulated specifically for demanding manual transmission and transaxle applications

This is not good for the rear diff nor the transmission as they both spec GL-5. Shifting my feel fine, in fact it may feel much better, but a GL-5 oil contains 30-50% more Extreme Pressure/Anti-wear additives than this GL-4.

It says its approved by Subaru though? This car is hardly driven hard at all... When she consistently gets 550-600km to a tank of gas 100% inner city driving, that should give you am idea as to how hard this car gets driven

It says it meets GL4 specifications for Subaru.
But if your car calls for GL5 then it's not going to meet specifications for YOUR car.
Also, stop and go traffic found in inner city driving is going to cause a lot of wear since you're shifting constantly.
