The t3 flange and single dump tube dont give away that the turbo is not TS? Lol
Still a quality setup. I think Jive is vicariously enjoying this mod path and possibly delusional about dump tube placement.

Thanks, looks good. Do you notice a pretty big difference? My car feels real flighty at higher speeds, I was hoping to tighten that up with this setup. Not here to talk about my car, I am more interested in your experience with this setup.

Yeah, the dampers really help a lot. In terms of handling, I would take the Koni's and stock springs over stock dampers and RCE springs.

I have been made aware of a new user named "xlubenm". This is NOT me! It is a new user with very few, very ambiguous posts. He has a user name very similar to mine which has been quite unique in the last 10+ years that I've had it. I'd have to assume this account is for trolling or attempted fraud/scamming in some way. Please be very cautious of any dealing with this user. It is NOT me!

My guess is that he'll probably try to scam someone somehow. Anyone know how many posts you need to start sending PM's?

Any plans on adding the rest of the "holy shift" kit to your car? I got it for Christmas so I will be installing soon, I do hear the linkage bushings make a significant difference. I plan on doing measurements of the play in the shifter before and after.

Funny you should mention that. Just bought it. I'm very interested in seeing how you like them because I think you'll probably get it in before me.

I might. We'll see. Most of it's pretty well documented already.

I did a Group N Tranny mount, tranny crossmember, pivot, and linkage at the same time. I can say it made a very noticeable difference, but I don't know which parts made the most...

Besides looks how much benefit do you think(or know) you get from going from the 8 to 9 inch wheel?

It also depends on what 8"wheels you are referring to. If its the stock 11 wheels, then you could also benefit from having a wider aftermarket wheel that also weighs less than the stock wheels. Every lb of unsprung rotating mass equates to roughly ~20lbs in the trunk of your car. So if you can save 2-3 lbs or even more per wheel, while running wider, sticker tires could provide a HUGE improvement over the stock setup. In sure Ben will chime in as he runs 9" wheels in the summer with some meaty tires on some of the lightest wheels on the market |

But quantifying it isn't something I can do. Maybe some magazine out there has done it, but IMO the change in wheel tire has a lot more to do with weight and tire compound than it does width. The overall width is just one component to be considered. And some people have wide wheels and tires that are as narrow (or narrower) than stock. So the question as asked has very little value. |
