GB on Trim Gard Door Trims
I love my car. I hate people who are careless when they open their doors in the parking lot. The WRX doesn't come with any moldings to protect from opening doors!
SOLUTION: Aftermarket Trim Gard - Door moldings These protect your WRX from door dings. They are made of very high quality molded plastic and come prepainted in a variety of colors to match as closely as possible to your car. They also come unpainted if you want have them painted to exactly match the color. Each comes with industrial strength double backed tape that won't come off your car! Installation requires a set of garden shears or some heavy duty pair of shears to cut the trim. Any garden store variety works. Installation takes 20 minutes and now I don't have any more dings on my doors. Retail is $90 a set. I am proposing a GB price based on qty purchased. If I get 5 -10 people, the price will be $80 + shipping 10+ people, the price will be 71.85 each + shipping. Payment Instructions: [email protected] (cash/bank acct paypal) [email protected] (credit/debit cards) add 3% to cover paypal fees. At these prices, I need to cover costs as the price I offer is already a very low price. CA residents need to add tax. Colors available: WRB Black Silver White Unpainted We also have these for your Non Suby Cars.

I haven't gotten a ding on my car since installing these.
But, nothing is fail proof - Too many different car door types/heights. But some protection is better than no protection. my .02 |

One other thing. 2nd pic (posted 5/10) was a guy who chose to install his in the crease of the door (I think it looks better this way). I've installed them on my car above the crease - not as nice an install, but I think it offers more protection. I haven't had any dings with the install above the door crease. It will make a difference if you install them lower on the door.

I was worried about this too so I took a 3 foot level to the side of my car to see where the high point is. It is above crease but it is not really that much farther out. If the trim is about 1/4" thick, it would become the point that would contact first.
My 2 cents, but don't trust me, test for yourself. A string with weight will show the same thing. |

I've gotta drop out of this. I'm going to have to come back in later and pick this up at full price after I get my car repainted.
