Usually I'd agree with you but I'm using this time to work on a couple other projects. I've still gotta put the new parts on my car. It's just started making a new sound under boost. I think it's coming from the seal/spring in the BPV because it's only under heavy boost but it sounds like a balloon letting air out by pulling it tight and squeaking. So I may be adding a new BPV to the turbo system.

Default Visiting Subie Owner needs help

Hey guys. I am visiting from Canada on a ski trek and staying up in Park City. My rear brakes have failed and I likely need new calipers, rotors and pads. I am loosing fluid somewhere and have no pressure so not safe to drive. I can order the parts on-line, but speedy shipping is brutal.

Any recommendations on a Subie friendly shop who might have used calipers and access to the brake parts.

2002 Impreza wagon with the 2004 Ouback H6 upgraded rear brakes.

Many thanks for any input.

Peter

We likely have most if not all of it in stock at Reflected Image Motorsports.

Iíve gotten over watching the battle for first and second. Watching the battle for 3-10 spot is where itís at.

Oh yeah, bought an M2 last weekend. Maybe Iíll stop by a cars and coffee. Wheres the info for the cars and coffee stuff?

It's kind of just been decided like a couple days before the meet up lately Haha. I'd be down to get another one on the books soon though.

My bugeyes battery is dead, I was screwing with the wiring in the radio and I think it drained it to the point of death, itll jump but doesnt want to start on it's own. I hate wiring lol.

I should be down as long as it's somewhere good, lol. Red Rock at Fashion Place? Open to suggestions.

Do any of you go to the cars and coffee in Draper and SLC?

I would love to go to Cars and coffee in either location, just don't know when do they start or where at.

I'm down for Red Rock, never been there before.

I'm technically mobile, but my car wont be "done" until the 3rd. I'm down to come to a meet though if one gets planned before then.

I got the IC on my hatch today, those silicone hoses were a bitch and a half lol. I couldn't get the knock sensor out though, I didnt have an extension long/thin enough to get on it and i rounded the top of the bolt a bit, not enough to make it stuck, but enough to decide to take it down to despain tomorrow and let them fish it out.

I'm still working on the bugeye too, theres something with the radio that was causing it to drain the battery, I just unplugged the harness until I can figure it out. Now I'm chasing random knock numbers that I think are linked to the trans/clutch/mounts. Drift events have already started, and I'm behind. Havent even gotten it RWD yet.... whoops... lol. I hope everyone else is getting along nicely.
