We are both 30 with 2011 STi's. A hatch and a sedan. Rumor has it, 30 is the new 25.

I've had my Subaru since 2007 and I'm 35. My female friends over 30 think my wrx is a kids car but all the 18-25 girls love it. My car is modded but very unassuming. It's PSM with bronze colored gram lights and its wingless. It's low but only KW robispec set-up low(ie not slammed). It is a little loud but the motor is built do I don't have much of an option. All of my cars and trucks are modded. That's not going to change no matter how old I get. Stock sucks

67. Have owned my 2005 9-2x Aero MT since it was new. Thinking about a Focus ST or 2015 WRX. Maybe I'll buy an old mans car in another 20 years.

I'm almost 33, owned my 07 WRX wagon since new..

you could classify all my mods as.. subtle.

Exterior, a side from a front lip, lightly tinted windows, modest lowering and gold STi BBS's.. you'd think the car was stock driving by.

Same sorta goes for the interior mods.. EvoX Recaro seats (for comfort), S204 dash (cause black is nice to look at), matching black back seats, and double din screen ... absolutely nothing flashy.

Underhood comes in the form of a pro tuned VF48 with supporting mods and a V9 STi limited drivetrain (black brembo's, R180, 5x114.3...)

Everything looks like it came from the factory like this.

45 yrs old, 3rd STI. Before the Subaru's, "2" 1987 Buick GN's. The STI is durable as hell. I break all my cars power train prior to Subaru. The STI's beefy 6spd reminds me of the Muncie M-22 Rock Crusher.
I can drive anything I would like, my STI puts a smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel. Hard to say that these days.

Just turned 32 and have literally touched every part on a 2007 with over 130,000 miles to bring it back to its original glory.

I am 30, but have had basically the same mind set even when i was younger. It really up to you since its your car but I personally think alll cars look better either stock and lowered or with a factory lip kit and lowered. Not at all or never was at all a fan of bodykits and crap. Other then that I like the look of some meaty (wide) tires and a nice but somewhat facoty looking exhust tip. Other then that my money is spent in performance, ie. power, suspension, brakes, etc.

One thing I learned about being old, you usually have more income. Most guys on here with decked out Subaru are usually in their late twenties.

45 now, 34 when I took delivery of my brand new '03 WRX wagon. It was the first true performance car I have owned, and a far cry from where it started, currently a DD stage 3 sleeper. Loved it then, love it even more now, door dings and all.

I'm just wondering because this will dictate how I build my car when I pay it off. Im currently 28 and like the racer look, but not sure if it would look cool when im above 30, (ex. too boy racer)
I'm over 30 - twice.

No external mods except BBS rims and sport grill. I found the 09 grill particularly ugly.

I'm 31, bought my WRX last year, and my fiance loves it.

I look at it like this:
I could have bought an Infinity G37, or BMW 335i, or MB C class something, or Audi A4, or whatever... and I'd probably have been happy.

However, I WANTED the WRX. Its funny... that whole adulthood + income thing allows you to do what you want without apologizing

I'll probably tune this thing out and sell it to some kid who needs some help getting tail LOL
