How was your day?
I've had better. Got rear ended on the way home from work. Guy didn't hit me very hard, so when I got out and looked, I didn't look very close and it looked like there was no damage. Unfortunately, when I got home it turns out there was damage. My bumper cover is flared out at the ends where it joins with the body, and the first detente on my seat (the one that puts that back all the way up is broken, so my seat is canted back far more than I am comfortable with. But I'm screwed because, like an idiot, I didn't get any information from the guy who rear ended me, so now any cost to repair this has to come out of my pocket. Considering I am $5k in debt due to mods for my car, this isn't looking really good. My day just went from bad to worse...

Good luck.
If the bumper isn't pushed in and just flared on the sides, you can probably rebend the brackets holding it to the body to straighten it out. The seat... well, nothing I can suggest there. :-/ |

Well, I was looking at getting a set of aftermarket seats eventually, but that wasn't planned until sometime this summer, maybe even the fall. I don't have the money to get a set now, but it is too uncomfortable to drive the car with the seat the way it is.

I know you don't want to hear this now, but it's a good reminder for everyone else, so just cover your ears (er, eyes ):
If you are in an accident, you should at the very least exchange information. If the accident causes any significant amount of damage, you should immediately call the police and file a report. This has been a public service announcement Jordan |

Believe me, the second I got home and was looking at what happened, I was swearing a blue streak in the driveway.
