Any interest? JDM 6mt 4.44fd (package only)
Alright, I think its time to throw her up and see if anyone would be interested in this unit.
01-02 JDM 6mt w/ 4.44 final drive. Came from a privateer rally team, was a spare unit that went unused. A friend was gonna throw it in his time attack car but he went 5mt. I got it and ran it on my stock v7 STi swap for a year and about 15k miles, then threw a EJ257, SZ49 turbocharger, exedy twin disc and kartboy short shifter for another year and ran about 11k miles more. Car is very fast in every gear but 1st gear is basically useless. And your revs will be about 4k at 80mph in 6th. So its not the transmission for everyone. But a lightly modded car would feel a major boost in performance. A big turbo car will not like it because you are constantly shifting. Rowing thru the gears becomes more then just a term you hear about. All and all, I love this transmission but a dogbox is more appropriate for what I want this car to do in the future. With that said... JDM 6mt 4.44 final drive. Kartboy shortshifter kit with 6mt shift linkage. JDM 4.44 R180 rear differential JDM R180 rear axles Cusco solid mount Exedy twin disc clutch kit Custom external oilcooler I was thinking around 5500 for it all. Figgure the trans is 3500ish, linkage and shifter is about 300, rear dif is 700 and the mount, oil cooler, axles and clutch/flywheel are 2000. I also have hubs and brakes but thats for another section. Here is my deal: I got a new project car on its way and this one is gonna be parked for a lil bit. If I sell the parts and get what is fair for them, great. If I don't, no biggie and I'll keep the parts because i'm still driving the subaru Don't ask for a part out, I am willing to negotiate on the price for the whole setup though and if you do want r180 hubs, driveshaft, rear brakes and a few other random odds and ends, I will give a bulk discount (and local discount )

I'm interested in the r180 hubs and rear brakes. Does this include the knuckles?
Was that part of the package where you won't part out or is it part of the random odds and ends? |

If someone wants to buy the trans and not the rear end I would split them up, but at this moment I want to give someone the turnkey opportunity.
