![]() Base model WRX (2018)
I'll get right to the point: Mods: Stage 2 Tune for Speed Density COBB AOS, CAI & Turbo back Exhaust Oil Used: 5w-30 full synthetic On cold start after sitting and while idling at stoplights or a long wait a stop sign I will get blue smoke out of the exhaust. I have no oil leaks and I am noticing some oil consumption. Could people please provide some areas that I should check to see if I can rectify this issue? Thank you!

That product is designed for your problem. Cheap, easy fix unless there is something actually wrong. |

![]() If you are losing oil then it is very likely a bad turbo seal.

![]() Update: I still get the blue smoke sometimes. I recently used Royal Purple 5w-30 and the first 1000 miles I believe I noticed significantly less blue smoke after idle especially. Now above 2000/2500 miles I'm noticing it a little bit more and there is a slight bit of black film on the rear bumper. Nothing major, but I can notice it if I don't wash the car for a bit.
