Oh, I definitely don't expect to be done with mine before then. I have discovered some.. unexpected issues that have both added time to the project, and dampened my spirits greatly.
I hope to go in to that when I post the next update on my thread in the next couple days.

We'll be driving the wife's Crosstrek to Subiefest.

And I'd love to come up and lend a hand. Should be out of work around 2:30 on Saturday, and I expect Sunday to be wide open.

What a awesome day doing Garage Therapy..***. Got some goodies installed that I had for a while...
-S204 Titanium Exhaust.
- PST Carbon Driveshaft...
Totally awesome stuff.. Soooo Snappy now.. no drone.. Sooo nice Sounding. PERFECT fit... . The Driveshaft makes the car sooo smooth.. Love it.
Special thanks to my new Friend @DrTrae . He was a tremedous help .. I learned that I either to old to jump around and get into some of the wrenching..But Trae was great and we got her done
Enjoy..

No problem at all, Bill. Hanging out was awesome. Your car being in such great shape made everything super simple..
It was nice not needing safety glasses most of the time. I'm used to needing them on to keep rust from falling in to my eyes while I'm under my car.

Here are a few of the pics that I took.

HKS exhaust taken down and out of the way for the new driveshaft.

Stock driveshaft down. Bill conning the neighborhood kids in to doing his yardwork.

New PST Carbon driveshaft installed!

Ended out at Bill's favorite taco place. Thanks for lunch/dinner!

Finally got all the pieces together in case I need to COMPLETELY bring the car back to Stock .. The last piece of the Stock Puzzle came into focus on Saturday as someone local had a MINT STi Muffler.. Price was reasonable.. and the condition is pretty much new*ish... .. Had been looking for a while.. But Good to go now... Like I say.. Just In Case .. Meet this weekend.. looking forward for folks to see it out in the wild

Bill

Got to drive the STi a couple of times since I put the Exhaust and the Carbon Driveshaft on.. It is soooooo smoooooth.. The exhaust has a great note to it.. not overbearing but lets you know it has a nice growl/Rumble to it.. LOVE IT Scooby meet coming up this Coming Sunday and I am trying to execute a meet of my own at a local City park... Planning on a Subie Swap Meet/Show/cookout .. More later

Much appreciated man

In other news: Went to an 'Import Face-Off' car show today and entered the STi for the first time.... The STi was very well received but it kinda felt out of place to all the 'Blingy',Stanced, Over the top 'showy' cars there... with a 2 step competition, Burn-out and Drifting competition and a low car Limbo ....just wasn't my cup of tea...I had a couple of folks that said my STi was their favorite at the show..... Mine too.. Didn't win anything... but still had fun regardless

Speaking as the one that put it in...
Lol, it was simple. I credit that to Bill's car being in such great shape. Few nuts and bolts, slide the stock one out, new one in, done.

Thanks, I've long been interested in doing it myself but read mixed outcomes with some brands, but can't remember which so I'll keep this brand in mind if I ever decide to pull the trigger.

As Trae Said... pretty simple.. I was replacing the Cat-back anyway.. which has to come off to get to the driveshaft.. Soak your bolts...including the Driveshaft plate on the rear diff, which has 6 bolts on it.. We did have to trim the weight off the plate to ensure fitment.. wasn't bad at all..

I love it.. the car is soooo much Smoother when going thru the gears... No drivetrain KLUNK... very smooth.. and its way less rotating mass.. soo a bit quicker too
