ex-g/f (possibly) dating a friend, would you have a problem with it?

I dated a girl for 3 years. During the last year, we lived together and she would always go out with me and my friends. Well that year was a bumpy one and we went off our separate ways when the lease ended. About 6 months later I started dating another girl who is really sweet and things have been going great with her for over a year now. I still talk to my ex every so often, but now she's hanging out with all my (ex)friends who coincedentally don't talk to me anymore and is possibly dating one of them.

I know we're not together anymore but three years is a long time to spend with someone and there are still some feelings leftover. I know I should just forget about all of them and move forward with what I have, but I wish she would have just left my life completely to make it easier. All those friends are still on my local car forum so it's not like I can get rid of them either. I don't know, maybe time is all it will take. I guess it doesn't help that I'm in Iraq where my only real form of communication with everybody is the internet.

If they aren't really friends of yours (it seems like you don't talk to them much), I wouldn't have much of a problem with it. If it was one of your very good friends, that's an "Oh Hell no" moment unless they talk to you about it. At least IMO. Bro's before ho's right?

The thing is...even if you have a problem with it it's still gonna happen. The best thing to do is mentally get past it somehow so it no longer bothers you. This process may require help from her sister or best friend.

Yeah I know, but they were a group of friends I had a lot of fun with and well.. she had big tits. It doesn't help that I'm kinda lonely here. my ex of 7 years was dating a very good friend of mine less than a year (iirc) after we broke up. It really wasn't a big deal. I still hung out with the guy plenty (he worked with me for a while in fact), and I'd see the girl from time to time for whatever reason (just "hanging out" friend-type stuff, sicko)

it's none of your business how she lives her life anymore, and if you care for her at all you'd be happy to see her happy. and if you don't care for her anymore, what does it matter?

It all depends on how things ended between you two in my opinion. There are girls that I would feel a little weird about if they were dating one of my friends, but would get over pretty quickly and then there are girls that I've dated who I would flip my lid if one of my friends was dating them. It all comes down to how things ended between us and if there are unresolved feelings on my end.

Do yourself a favor and remember why you broke up in the first place, the girl isn't the one for you. If it bothers you that much just don't expose yourself to anything in terms of her. Cut off contact.
