need help.. hum/whistle at high speeds =-(
I have Falken Azenis 225/45R17 running on 43psi and max is 50psi...yesterday night, i was hitting 120 on the fwy and i noticed a hum coming from my car . it only made it at that speed because as soon as i slowed down, it would go away and come back when i would hit 120 again. i'm assuming its prob the tires. anyone had this prob before??? could it be anything else???...and i don't often hit that kind of speed Please help. tnx everyone for any info.

Quick Questions,
Was it like that on your old tires? Is it coming from the tires or is it mechanical? Does it suddenly appear or does it gradually come on? |

This is the conversion forum, so I'm not sure why you posted this here but....
It is probably the windows. (could be the mirrors, but most people have experienced this b/c of the frameless windows). There are a lot of threads on this, but here's one of them: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...dows+OR+mirror |

And why are you doing 120 on the freeway??
More importantly.....why isn't this in the tire/something something section???? |

It's your mirrors. There was a question asked just like this in general.
