This video is actually about 1/3 of a second slower 50-100mph than my older one because I am shifting at 6.5k instead of 7k (so in reality the in-gear acceleration should be the same, just more shifts). Shifts may be slower too, I was kind of taking it easy. But the gears are great. That first gear whine really turns heads in parking lots and city streets!

1st gear is the one that whines. 2nd and up sound like stock. Although you just hear the EWG, not the gears

I was going to go a couple weekends ago but the car was down. Maybe I'll get there eventually. I'm not drag racer, so I probably won't do anything amazing.

Have Fuji run it and see how deep it'll go!

I just wanna see a trap, this this is well put together. Wished you would have run a 38 gate, but it's so fantastic to be on the stock catback and making so much power still!

Nah. If it goes down the track, it will be me driving. I don't see the point in having someone else drive it.

Why should I have a 38mm EWG? The 44mm allows me more flow (if I want it), and it can still limit flow just as much as a 38mm. BTW, I have the SPT exhaust on now

I'm not making a pull video for comparison to yours. You'll just embarrass mine! There is a big difference with 100 ft/lbs more torque. Yours pulls like a monster. Of course...people say that about mine that are still on stage 2+ or lower. I guess it is all relative.

Aw. I was actually thinking of messaging you about that just this morning! I'd still be curious to see it. Like you said, it will still be fast compared to most cars!

Yes, you should

Do a pull that starts below 50mph and ends above 100mph so we can get a 50-100mph time.

You should also do a 50-100mph time. It's a fun benchmark for comparison.

Haha. Thanks. The wheels do look pretty solid. Fairly light too.

Ill do mine too this way we can see the difference between the turbos. Oh wait its back at the shop with an oil leak, as soon as it tuned though we could see a real life compasion between your turbos and the HTA68 w/meth.

Very sick though I love the sound of the gears and I am assuming I will have to go to something like that soon. How long did the install take or did you just send the whole thing out?

I was curious about that as well. Did you do the replacement yourself?

I removed and installed the tranny myself, with help from local guys. Removal or install only takes a few hours. I had a local guy install the gears. It is a day's work to split the tranny take everything out, reassemble the new stuff and put it back together. But I had a few hiccups along the way, so everything basically ended up being done twice and that's part of the reason the car was down for over a month.
