Default What Mod to Buy w/ $120

So I decided to put $300 towards something nice for my car. I already have tint scheduled and will have $120 left over when I'm done with that. The two choices I've come up with are SS/bushings or an STI axle back. The axle back will be about $60-70 and the SS will be $120 exact. Do you guys have any other recommendations for mods under $120? What would you get?

Short shifter... it's more fun

axleback... eh, I'd get something other than just an STi axleback. Get something used like prodrive or something... I got one for $135 + $25 for shipping.

fail!

the car will still be there, the girl will be banging your friend

the key is to not tell your GF about spending money on your car...and stay away from "which is more important, you car or me?"

I haven't seen a prodrive go for less than $200. I just want something that looks good and sounds good and the STI axle back does both of those things cheap.

I just broke up with my girl so no expenses on that for a while. More for my car.

i have not seen any prodrive axelback for what you have to spend , and about the sti cat back or axelback , i would say maybe just save up a little more and get nice exhaust that is used .

you can also get used rear sway bar from like cusco ive seen some cheap.
or endlinks.

Is the STI one not nice? I think it's fine.... What would you recommend I get instead? I just cant see myself spending over $100 on basically a muffler. I'm really torn between axle back and SS now. I wish I could find a KB shifter/bushings used for $60. Then I could get both the things I want!

You could always get the strut tower bars and H-brace combo from ebay. And take your girl out to dinner. Mods + Sex = Happy Ending

What would that do? Half the stuff you guys are recommending I have no idea what it even is, lol. Some short descriptions would be nice. I also need to keep this mod DIY to not have to deal with mechanics and installation fees.

id get a swaybar before strut tower braces..the only strut tower brace that makes a real difference is the RSB with a V-Brace

save it for gas.

seriously you should save your money, just because you have 300 doesn't mean you should spend it all.
you're a dependent aren't you? or is this like a bonus from work or something?

Too bad you're so far away, I'd sell you an STI axle back for $40 plus shipping. Shipping could be fairly expensive though, due to the weigth.
Get either a short shift kit (makes driving so much more enjoyable), or the upper strut bar/ H brace off ebay. They will tighten up the front and give you a noticeably quicker turn in. All those things are very much DIY mods.

the sti axelback isn't going to do much for you, the ss will.

i still say save the money so the next time you get 300 dollars you can buy something that's 420, or save it until you have money for something real like coils or wheels or avic-n3 or antiswaybars or a racing seat and harness or something else good.
