FS: JDM Legacy Momo steering wheel

This is a rare JDM Legacy Momo steering wheel. Very good condition - no wear marks, but it has a few minor scratches on top (see 3rd pic). Not sure what cars this will fit so do your research first. I bought it for my '01 RS, but never installed it. When I eyeballed it, I didn't think it would fit so I never actually took the effort to try and later sold the car. Other people seem to believe it would fit though. But like I said, do your research first.

thanks for the bump. they are really nice wheels. i'm not a fan of the in-your-face MOMO of the other wheels so i like the subtleness of this wheel.

Perhaps a strange question - does the leather have some "give" to it? I've never been impressed by the MOMO wheel in my sister's '02 WRX - it's as hard as a rock and doesn't even feel like leather. The leather wheel in my 2.5GT has nice, supple leather with some give to it. Unfortunately, the leather is starting to flake on mine so I would like to replace it. I don't want to replace it with one that's hard as a rock, though.

hmmmm, that's an interesting question. i guess it's personal opinion, but you would probably consider it too hard. it's a little softer in the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions, but it's definitely on the harder side.

On your other thread some people thought it would fit your RS. Wouldn't that mean it'd fit 05 WRX too?

If so I'm interested. I really like the open spot of the 02 -04 wheels at the bottom (good for highway cruising) but not the screaming yellow Momo cap on it.

The 04 momo wheel has a red logo, not yellow, that was just 02-03...but none the less, this wheel is much sexier, I wish I had the money for it!! free bump

Just noticed no cruise on this thing. Is that something that can be moved from my current wheel with some cutting? Havn't really looked that closely to where the cruise stalk connects.

Most JDM subaru's don't offer the cruise control, so you'll need to transfer it from your old wheel.

Do you have pics of the airbag connector? It may come in handy for those that don't want to do any sort of splicing to the SRS system.

Yes, if it fits a GC8 RS, then it should fit an 05 WRX. But again I can't promise anything since I have no experience installing it. As rougeben83 said, you will have to do some modifying to add the cruise control stock. I'll try to post up pics of the airbag connector this weekend.
