STI 1/4 mile registry (stock vf39) < 13.0
after seeing the td04 list by hotrod i thought it would be a good idea to compile a list of the fastest sti's w/ stock turbo. anything goes mods wise as long as the turbo is UNTOUCHED, no porting of any kind. EWG is fine, nitrous is fine, alky/meth injection is fine, c16, any type of race gas, etc. dogbox's allowed too, but please clarify! please post up a mod list if you want but a slip is necessary, **NO SLIP, NO TIME**
click on times for pic of timeslip. --------name----------car------1/4 mile time---------track--------------octane------------

I won't bother posting the slip for my 13.2 run; as most people could pull that with less mods than I have. However that was before I figured out how to launch the damn car and with good weather coming I plan on being into the 12's solidly. Now I just need to clean up that fourth to fifth shift. Bump to keep a worthwhile thread going.

So let me know when you figure out how to launch the car. I'm still trying to figure it out. Nothing like the smell of burnt clutch all the way down the track. I either bog it down, or rev it too high. |

OK GUYS. i need the timeslips typed out in entirety or scanned. including 60ft, 330, 1/8, mph, 100, 1/4, mph. i need your 1/4 mile time to look like this...
[email protected] to the thousandth! im sure that a few times will come to hundreths if not thousands, so i need to arrange then accordingly. Last edited by wrxtremeWGN; 04-27-2006 at 01:43 AM. |

For the record, here is a copy-paste of my other post in the timeslip thread regarding my 12.48 run.
Mods at the time were: Cobb StreetTuner, Helix Catted DP, Blitz NUR Spec catback, Injen Limited (RS1201) CAI, Perrin EBCS, 9lb wastegate helper spring, Thermotec turbo heat wrap, coated heatshield, Kartboy rear diff crossmember bushings, TiC rear diff bushings, and t-bolt clamps to stop a boost leak I found. LC-1 WB02 and a Greddy EGT gauge. Stock VF39. Boost was 19.5 tapering to 16.3 at 6800. AFR is 11.5 tapering to 11.3. EGT's hit 880c on this run. ~95 octane. I normally launch at 5000-5500, as I recall this launch was at about 6k and felt mushy. I flat-shift 2-3 and 3-4 and lift on the others, and shift around 6200rpms. And since everyone always asks, the other car in the slip below was an old toyota corolla, with slicks, cage, and I dunno what else. He nailed his brakes at the finish line hard enough to lock em up. |

This is from my '04 STi last year:
Gutted stock downpipe/midpipe, Magnaflow Ti catback and 100 octane #7138 Today with my '06 STI: Cobb DP, Magnaflow Ti catback, APS header, 93 octane, hitting the brakes... #7650 I think it's finally time for some engine management. |
