I drive to Harmarville most MWF weekdays and could meet you in my parking lot whenever I'm there. I could also meet you somewhere near the zoo in the 2-3pm timeframe without too much trouble. That's no tunnels and no bridges for you if that helps.

I can't remember if people here were interested or not, but there are now 3 dates for (somewhat) local rallycross events. Allegheny Highlands Region SCCA announced today that they will be holding 3 events at Allegany County Fairgrounds near Cumberland MD on Aug 20, Sept 10 and Nov 5.

http://ahr-scca.com/?page_id=1207

Also geographically and motorsports related, Polish Mountain Hillclimb, the closest sports car hillclimb event to the Pittsburgh region is this weekend (Aug 5 & 6) in Flintstone MD just east of Cumberland. It's only about a 2 hour drive. There are all sorts of street and race cars racing up the historic National Road, including not one but TWO sexy red Integra GS-R's. (and a Radical, LS-swapped M3, Formula Mazda, Lotus Europa, etc.) So if you're feeling like doing something car related this weekend, take a drive and check out a hillclimb event. There's a trolley that runs up and down from the pits to the spectator areas. It's totally free and you can walk around the pits or whatever. And to keep this Subaru related, there is ONE WRX entered haha!

Had a ton of fun at the hillclimb. WRX crashed out on the first day.

Hi Everyone,

I ordered my 2018 Sti limited few weeks back, should be here by the end of August.
What I'd like to ask is, Do you guys know any good detail shop around Pittsburgh Area?
I live in the Squirrel Hill Neighborhood, I wouldn't mind travel for 30 mins to get to a good detail shop.

Looking for suggestion, Thanks in advance

I usually use Double Take Automotive on Banksville Rd.(http://doubletakeauto.com/) because it's pretty convenient to where I live. He does a good job at a good price but I can't say that it's anything life-altering. There's a new-ish shop near/affiliated with 6 Star Service and Performance Fabrication (formerly Moore Performance) that offers high end services and has experience with more expensive vehicles. http://tssdetailing.com/

Ugh I wish I could go to that dyno day, but I'll be in Florida when it's going down. I'd like to know what my Saabaru is really making, maybe I'll just have to swing down on a not dyno day, or wait until the next one.

Both passes with 12.47. 5 hours and i got two pass. And now my first gear souds like reverse. So im pretty pissed off i ran a 12.09 on an ebay turbo at 21psi, and a 12.4 at 29psi from a borg warner. Nothing was really going well. Even my aitflow was down. I usually see over 400g/sec at those temps. Only hit 370's last night.

Heres a video, you can see my clutch smoke let go in second gear

Geez. And people complain about autox. I'll get out there one day to see how fast slow my car is (for science) but that's a whole lotta hanging out with drag race-types for not-a-lot of action...

did the dyno at 6 star the other day. Figured out my slippy clutch trouble. It's only rated to 395ftlbs. Foz made 398 so thats that i guess.

Then my chart got its ass kicked by a black Legacy
