http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1014788 Forester XT springs are a pretty common route, if I am not mistaken. I agree that it would be sick, and have been considering the same thing on my OBS. |

yup. It's on the to-do list for me as well, and depending on the year, it might be as simple as swapping Forester springs in.

I went the opposite way with my OBS, but the spring measurements in my photos may be of help:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...&postcount=136 The dirty one is off of an '07 OBS, the other spring is off of an '06 WRX wagon. Both are front springs. |

I have some pics on my home PC, but the low down is as follows.
I used stock 2004 Forester XT Struts / Springs / Mounts on the front. The rears I first used Stock Forester XT struts / Springs with 91 Legacy Turbo mounts. Unfortunately I broke a few sets of those so I modified the strut towers (drilled new mounting holes) and installed the Forester XT mounts. After that I did not break any more. I would highly recommend adding the crossmember spacers from an Outback to even out the camber and prevent the axle from bottoming out (so to speak) on full suspension extension. I did not and it lead to the failure of the front differential I'll add some pics later. With that setup I was able to run 215-75/15 General Grabber AT2's (approximately 28in tires) -Ben |

Forester XT owners are also much more likely to swap out suspensions than an X or XS owner. Personally, if I could find a set I would go with the Forester LL-Bean struts (load leveling) Camo paintjob High compression EJ25 with ported heads and Delta cams Video of silliness Yes, the snorkel was functional |
