Thank you. It'll dim over time as the dust settles. I'll do my best to keep it clean and vibrant.

So much more to go, wish I had the time to make it all happen R, but I'll continue to do my best as well as keep the thread alive and up to date. Some goodies are coming from japan soon; the passion collection keeps snowballing.

in need of a bath snippet, meaty tire mod going down this week w/ a set of 305's then a wash with my latest Chem guys arsenal.

Friday - I sourced this gem on FB

Lastly, I purchased a new in dash as well, the old one is just a headache. IDK if I made an error on the install or what but there are intermittent sounds issues.

Well I wasn't happy with the 295's exposing the lip of the rims and wanted some more protection. Low n behold in all my google hunting and saving of images my 305's didn't appease the heart much. Instead of continuing w/ the 30 series I should have went with a 35/40 in the 295.

at this point I wasn't even excited to see it on the ground

also had to deal w/ some exhaust issues today. Old gaskets gave way and the egt bung disappeared creating an obnoxious exhaust leak. Visited my guys at Muffler Dr. to help sort it all.

Then I replaced the bung bolt once I got home; I didn't realize it was the bung bolt until I was leaving the muffler shop.

Gained a bit of "optical" clarity this evening, but far from the glass look I wanted. Although I ordered 2k clear, I didn’t use it. I wanted to gauge the yellowing inside the lens. As my luck would have it, these lights are lightly yellowing inside. Most likely I’ll split them apart sometime in the future and polish the inside as well. For now, it is what it is.

Nice car and good experience for the kids. Like how you made them earn it.

Thank you, they were terrified for a day, but this morning they wanted another go haha, but we were running late and I had to take my daughters TSX. I refuse to let them grow up entitled. They get no privileges here; video game and free time must be earned by reading books/dictionaries and writing sentences on top of daily homework.

as for the Subie De-Rez updates

I can finally start to work in the STI interior. Purchased a set of nice door handles.

Starting with the driver side, I'll be updating the speakers or lake there of. Not HUGE on loud music, so these will do.

ps those screws were there before I. Added some new OEM tweeters too.

such a horrible pic but complete nonetheless

Some bits from japan arrive

Some may not say "rare," but the sills were removed from an actual S202. I hope I don't run into any issue with the rear sills and USDM STI back seat.

A spare set of gunmetal lights. These I will try to restore and retrofit, this way I don't feel the urgent need to crack mine open and clean.

some rear end fluff - aero light covers/trim

and these were just to cool, a set of tool boxes.

Quick $4.56 of protection. A simple way to extend the life of an aging wheel. $12 on amazon but I had some credits.

Winter parts arriving, I've always fancied this bumper, especially on black cars, let's hope we can do it some justice.
  • Curious to know if anyone may have leads on the fender liners w/ ducts and fog lights w/ covers?

The rare, elusive, blue recaro pole positions

Updates on the actual car, after the holiday weekend subaru was able to order me some new door handle brackets to update the door panels. Threw some new door tweeters in the mix; they've been paper weights for years. "STI" vs RS tweeters = same.

Got the Driver rear door panel installed, only passenger rear left. To do this on an 02-03 and 05-07 Sti door bracket is required, along with 05-07 door switch, handle, handle faceplate and dremeling of the PW switch connector.

* Connector Mod

I didn't have back seats, and since a fresh shipment arrived I visited my boys at JDM CA. Once the carpet is in, I'll do a full interior detail. It's so needed anyone have some tips? products? machines? they'd suggest if I do a DIY?

Thank you Battle. I was lucky enough to be lent some calipers to send to powder coat and have rebuilt; when they come back hopefully I can start turning wrenches on the suspension updates.
