I'm sorry but these numbers must be bogus. The numbers will be nowhere near what a 1/4 mile pass would show.
No offense meant to the shop at all but these numbers are not in line with the rest of the USA. |

Aparantly Cory is better at tuning than posting. This car is on E85 not 91 and it made more power the I've ever seen before for a VF on E85. On the mustang calibration it was about 360whp which is 10-20whp over what I usually see. This was a freak car, so we decided to post it up.
As far as our dyno, we have changes the correction factor to 1.0 from the .85 we used to run. The baseline numbers we listed are all converted over and valid for the new calibration. The dyno now simply reads like any other Dynocom and Dynojet in the rest of the country. Again, I don't care about the absolute numbers at all, the important part is the change from baseline which we are listing like we always did before. I do think its really funny that before our dyno read too low for people and now it reads too high for people. We made this change to the native calibration of the dyno so that our numbers can be directly compared to other Dynocom and Dynojets out there. At the end of the day, look at the baseline references and make up your own mind. Thanks -- Ed |

Just to re-iterate again, this car is not representative of the norm. It made crazy power easily and held 18.5psi to redline and made 10-20whp over what we normally see. We usually don't post regular tunes because we do a lot of them. If something catches our attention we'll usually post it.

FWIW, we just had a stock BRZ put down 175whp. Seems right on for a dynojet no?
I also find it funny that no one said a word about the 250whp pump gas TD04 on the same kind of dyno just a couple threads down in this forum. -- Ed |

I typically see graphs in the 340-350WHP from a stock turbo E85 STI on a Dynojet. 430WHP and 500+ WTQ on a stock tubo are moon numbers IMO. Why not do a couple stock baseline STI's? Unless they're doing 280-300WHP, then I don't think these numbers make any sense unless your dyno calibration doesn't scale correctly with increased power.

On our mustang or old setting, the car was making 366-372 whp which is out of the norm by a good 15-20 more then we usually see. the car was fast, spun the tires most of second gear

To give you some comparison, I just tuned a built motor STI with an Element GT52 on E85 that made around 490whp and a GTX3071 that did about 500whp on E85. That's only 60-70whp over this car with much larger turbos. You guys just have to understand that this car was an absolute freak and very far from the norm.

And FWIW, I also believe these numbers are high just as I believe other Dynocom's and Dynojet's are high. This dyno is now the moon dyno just like all the others. But again, who cares about the numbers? Look at the baselines, the shapes of the curves, and the trap speeds to decide what you think about the tuning. This car with this power would trap around 117mph.

Ummm, I'm not sure where to start...
I'd like to see the map for this car. I find it hard to believe a VF series turbo could hit that much HP or TQ at that PSI level. To hit 430+tq/365whp on a e85 STi i was running 24 psi and allot of timing. I've tuned TONS of e85 cars. On the dynojet we have typically make 420+awtq 350+awhp. How did you log the boost? If you used the stock ecu do you have a upgraded MAP? Maybe your running WAY more boost? I'm just perplexed |
