Car started going back together today, fresh trans from Andrewtech, custom clutch from ACT, and a new wastegate so we can throw some more boost at her!! Gonna leave the turbo kit alone for now and get a good intercooler and see how fast it will go on some e85 i believe

If a mod see's this, can we get this stickied please, race season is coming in a hurry and it will make this way easier to find!!

Nice, on race gas or e85? What pump and injectors? I'm set on the id2000 e85 just debating on what a single walbro 400lph would be good for. Trying to keep things simple for now.

What did your car weight? I have to be at least 2900 lbs, which I have covered by a few hundred.

It was 3340 with me in it 3 years back. I'm working on dropping that down. Around 2900 ish would be nice if I could do that with me in it. But I want to keep a lot of things since it's my weekend warrior.

Its 2650 with me in it. I need to be that for my class rules up here. I'm 220lbs myself.

I have 2 bosch pumps and id2200 injectors with e85

The car hit 29psi on those passes so we have a bit more to go yet boost wise

I did see this car ^^^^^^ in person and it had no real weight reduction that I could see(just the cf trunk and cf hood/no exhaust). In fact there was stuff on it that they could have easily removed to save weight but didnt for some strange reason.

I know the normal train of thought in drag racing generally is around for every 100lbs of loss = .6 of a tenth.

so 500lbs less would equal 3 tenths of a second faster(not really as much as you would think)

also a lighter car is harder to get to hook up at launch,my car always spins through 1st and second gears as seen in the vid taken at Byron this year.

I think once i get to try my M/T slicks along with my newly installed KW drag coilovers the car will pick up at least 2 tenths with no changes done.
60 foot time was 1.52 and that needs to come down to the low 1.30's

My car will be in the 3000-3100 lb range this year hopefully. I've been thinking about throwing a 62mm on it for this year and shooting for a low 9 at 150mph or so on a radial. I'm always up for a challenge.

That car was a real deal street car. The exhaust came off for the track because of back pressure problems from the greddy sp exhaust. On top of being a full weight car it also had a full 10pt + chute/net setup as well.

Also the 9.7 was on my worst 60ft/330 and 1/8th of the night. The track prep was **** after the first test pass to the 1/8th were it went 6.2@110 lifting. It was fast and DEF would have gone a .40-.50 that night on a clean pass. Regardless it never did, and I have no clue where the car is now.

That car at 2600lbs would have gone low 9s.

When your car is heavier you have to be cautious not to break ****. Light weight cars are more forgiving on driveline parts, and once you setup the suspension and ecu you can easily cut consistent 60fts. I had the 2 p&L cars cutting within .02 between passes. 1.30-1.32s all day long. The heavy 06 cut a 1.36 on the first pass testing the track.

Byron sucked for traction BTW.. even my 11sec forester was spinning into 2nd gear, so I wouldn't base much off that track . I'm sure once that suspension is setup and the traction in the ecu is dialed in you wont spin much.

Sounds like Low 9's @ 150+ mph is realistic on a 62mm then.

Hta86 or 6266 junior?

6266 is my weapon of choice for this year. We are building getpooted's Evo with one, looking for low 9s high 8s

Is the .82 housing on the 6266 gonna flow enough on the 2.5 motor, or would the hta86 benefit from the 1.06?

.82 and the magical CEA wheel. Look at my Russian missile thread... 141mph traps from the 6265 in a full weight 05sti with the old gears and hitting 5th gear. That setup in your car will go 150
