I have a full V7 drive train waiting to be installed. After everything I'll be doing for the engine swap I didn't want to have to worry about installing DCCD.

For sure, I'm just a little nervous about the wiring and harness swap for the 207 but hopefully everything goes smoothly. I have a ton of parts to finish installing and more on the way, including a brand new V2 lip that I'm super stoked to have found.

My 2003 wrx steering rod was seized and barely would rotate to the left , its a great thing to replace.

Be careful with the gates kit you might have got one with the crappy Chinese bearings , I have the part numbers for all the oem parts if you need them.

Why are you swapping headers ? , the oem twinscroll ones are fantastic.

Poor research on my part. Still considering to swap or not, past my return date they'd only give me store credit.

I would not bother , Its gonna be a pain and it may not even fit up without using a larger hammer or torch.

Default Bugeye email notifications. What is this, Netscape?

It's a quality exhaust, have nothing to do with it otherwise.

At first I thought that lip was sagging, but I see what you did now...hmmm, doesn't look good imo. I'd trim the prodrive one, or just remove it.

Yeah I talked to Infek about it a while back I guess they stopped producing the prodrive specific lip. So I had to come up with my own way to get it to work. Not the best but its ok for now.

I got my v7 STi seats from the UK a few weeks ago. Cleaned them up today and they look really nice. I was hoping it would be a simple job but ran into some complications as info on the swap is not complete, lol. Mine are black so they will match my stock interior pretty good.

The main issue is you can't simply swap the bases, or just swap the STi cushion onto the bugeye assembly. But I have a solution hopefully. If I get a USDM Forester seat base I can swap the V7 base onto it. The problem with the bugeye base is the pan for the STi seat doesn't fit. But the pan should fit on a Forester base.

Aside from that the seats are super comfortable since they were made for the slender Japanese man they are perfect match for my scrawny shrimpy ass.

edit: oops forgot to take any pics, lol.

Cool! Going with the 207 because the original is finally given out or just itching for more power?
