Default 2011 WRX Bi-Xenon Retrofit

When I was looking for the car, I couldn't find a silver Limited 5 door anywhere so I ended up with a Premium without the HID's. I had retrofitted another car in the past with TSX projectors so I went ahead and planned on retrofitting this car as soon as I got it.

Luckily, The Retrofit Source makes a complete plug and play HID retrofit specifically for the WRX. The kit included.

  • Morimoto Bi-Xenon Mini Projectors
  • Morimoto 4300k Capsules
  • OEM Subaru Ballasts
  • Wiring Harness (including relays to turn on bi-xenon hi-beams)
  • Mounting brackets

The projectors installed and on. I also decided to remove the orange reflector in the housing and install some silver bulbs that burn orange.

Overall I am incredibly happy with the system especially given the ease of install once you get the headlights open given the included brackets. There was zero fabrication, just bolt up and go.
